The Parkland Health Center Foundation Annual Gala supports Parkland Health Center's efforts in advancing health care in its community. Each year the foundation focuses on an enhancement presented to the Board, funds from this year's gala will go towards the OB renovation initiative to create more family centered care locally for the community. The Parkland Health Center Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization established in 2009. Founded with an anchor gift from the Alex Hawn estate; the Foundation provides quality care to residents in the community and also provides a tax-wise method of giving for those who may wish to honor a loved one or help others in need of medical care. Parkland Health Center is a non-profit hospital and is part of BJC HealthCare. With gifts from our generous donors, the Foundation provides:

Matthew Brendan Tkachuk is a professional ice hockey forward and alternate captain for the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League. He previously played in the NHL for the Calgary Flames. The Flames selected him in the first round, 6th overall, in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.
Willie McGee is a former outfielder who is an assistant coach for the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for four teams, over 18 seasons. He won two batting titles and was named Major League Baseball's 1985 National League MVP. McGee primarily played center and right field, winning three Gold Glove Awards for defensive excellence. McGee spent the majority of his 18-year career playing for the Cardinals, helping them win the 1982 World Series with his outstanding performance in Game 3. A four-time All-Star, McGee accumulated 2,254 hits during his career.
